Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT)
2024–25, the Mumbai skipper produced an incredible century against Goa,
solidifying his status as one of Jeddah's most sought-after players.

In 1.1 overs, Shreyas reached the middle with a score of
9/1. After facing just four deliveries, his Mumbai and Kolkata Knight Riders
(KKR) teammate Angkrish Raghuvanshi left, and he joined Prithvi Shaw in a
57-run partnership. Shreyas held steady throughout the first innings despite
losing three more wickets, including Ajinkya Rahane.

In the end, Mumbai amassed an incredible 250 runs. In just
57 pitches, the right-handed batter's willow provided 130 of these runs.
Shreyas hit 10 maximum and 11 fours, but was not considered a good six-hitter.
